Mark Lynn Partee, 67, of Defiance, suddenly passed away on Saturday, December  30, 2017.

He was born on October 7, 1950 to Virgil and Betty (Lang) Partee in Richland Township. Mark served our country in the U.S.Army. He worked at General Motors in Defiance over 45 years, retiring in 2015. Mark was an active member of  N. Mount Zion Church in Continental, and UAW #211.

Mark will be sadly missed by his sons, Dan (Ahlam) Partee, Jim Partee, and Mike (Christine) Partee, 5 grandchildren, twin sister, Marsha (Junior) Geckle, and brothers, Mike Partee and Phil (Bettie) Partee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Virgil Partee.

Visitation will be held from 3-7 pm on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 6th at N. Mount Zion Church, with Rev. Brent Gibson officiating. Burial will follow the service at N. Mt. Zion Cemetery.
