Marilyn R. Mack
Marilyn R. Mack, 75, of Johns Island, South Carolina, formerly of Defiance, died Wednesday, July 15th, 2009 on Johns Island, S.C..
She was born in Sherwood, Ohio on December 8, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Aloysius "Hap" and Agnes (Hurtt) Coressel.
Marilyn married Howard J. Mack on May 28, 1955 and he died Oct. 19, 2004.
She worked as a seamstress, doing alterations at Sherman's men's wear and was a past member of the mother of twin's club and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia.
Surviving is a
Daughter: Patricia (David) Anderson of Johns Island, S.C.
Sons: Ronald (Teresa) Mack of Goshen, Ind., David (Rebecca) Mack of Phoenix,Az., Daniel Mack of Auburn,Indiana.
Sisters: Geraldine Gutman, Nina Mayes and Theresa (Jerry) Speiser of Defiance, Dorothy Jean(Ed) Pessefall of Sherwood.
Brothers: Paul(Pauline) Coressel and Robert "Tony" Coressel of Defiance.
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband Howard, a daughter Priscilla Mack, a son Robert Mack, her parents and a brother Melvin "Bud" Coressel.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 A:M on Monday, July 20th, at the veteran's section of Riverside Cemetery with Deacon Don Meyer officiating.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 Monday morning at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home.
