Marietta "Micky"  Hoschak, 72, of Defiance, passed away on  Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the CHP Defiance Area In-patient Hospice Center.

She was born on February 7, 1941 to Donald and Winifred (Sandys) McMillen in Defiance.

Marietta was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.  She was a 1959 graduate of Defiance High School. She will be most remembered for her love of family and working in the floral industry for over 35 years, retiring in 2007.

She is survived by her sons, Shawn Hoschak of Defiance, Chad Hoschak of Defiance, daughter, Starla (Charles) Jaggers of Edon, very special friend, Tom Moser of Defiance and 12 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James McMillen.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Robert Kill officiating.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2013 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance.

The family suggest memorials be made to CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice Center.
