Maria Flores Ramirez, 94, of Defiance, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born on July 25, 1927 to Jose and Maximina (Lozano) Flores in Nayrit, Mexico. Maria loved her time spent with her family as a homemaker. She was married for several years to Juan Ramirez Sr. who preceded her in death. Maria is survived by her loving sons; Juan (Frances) Ramirez Jr. of Defiance, Santos (Sandra) Ramirez of Mexico, Alfonso (Irma) Ramirez of Defiance, and Joe (Laura) Ramirez of South Carolina, her daughters; Victoria (Rick) Estrada of Ney, and Alicia (Anthony) Sutphen of Defiance, 40 grandchildren, many great and great-great grandchildren and her sister, Eusevia Banuelos of Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Arnulfo Ramirez, and two sisters. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Temple of Praise in Defiance, Ohio. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the church, with Rev.
