Margaret (Fricke) Rassman-Nixon-Murphy's Obituary
Margaret (Fricke) Rassman-Nixon-Murphy, 80, of Defiance, was peacefully called to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, March 4, 2013 at Toledo hospital surrounded by her loving familly singing her favorite hymns.
She was born in Archbold,OH, on March 20, 1932 the daughter of Reverend H.D. and Alice (Seiler) Fricke.

Margaret was employed at Campbell Soup Co. for 8 years and retired after 34 years of service at Zeller Corp., Defiance. After retirement she worked part-time at Pocket Change Arcade and The Laurels of Defiance.
She had a passion for life, always sharing and caring for others. Her love and enormous heart touched many lives throughout her years. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, cooking , and sharing her skills with others. Her greatest joy of all was spending time with her family and loved ones.
She is survived by her children: Mark (Donna) Rassman, Nancy (Lynn) Rassman-Elston,, Connie Rassman-Burke, Patty (Dave) Nixon-Schafer, Scott (Angie) Nixon, Stepchildren: Barb Seehase, Bud (Patti) Nixon, Jerry (Gloria) Nixon, Greg (Deb) Nixon, Greg (Linda) Murphy, PJ (Brenda) Murphy, Sherri (Todd) Glisan, Roger (Arlene) Murphy, 33 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren, and her special companion, Bingo.
Margaret was preceded in death by her two husbands, Robert Nixon Sr. and Francis Murphy, parents, three sisters, two brothers, two grandsons and a granddaughter.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 2-8 pm, and Thursday 10 - 11am at Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the funeral home, with Pastor Paul Myers officiating.
Her final resting place will be in Riverside Cemetery, Defiance. Memorials if desired, may be made to Sunrise Community Church, Ney, OH.
