Marcus Leon Moser, 24, of Defiance, suddenly passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 in Defiance. He was born on September 12, 1993 to George and Erica (Esparza) Moser in Defiance. Marcus graduated from Tinora High School in 2011. He was All Ohio 1st Team in football, and he placed 4th at The Ohio State Wrestling Tournament his senior year. Marcus worked at Archbold Furniture in Archbold, and he was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Above all,  he loved his son, and he wanted to teach him to be a football player and wrestler. Marcus will be sadly missed by his family, and many good friends. Marcus is survived by his parents, George and Erica Moser of Defiance, son, Jace Francis Moser of Defiance, brothers, Mason Moser, Westley Moser, and Elijah Moser, all of Defiance, grandparents, Joann and Reynaldo Jimenez, Sr. of Montpelier, and Bonnie and Paul Moser of Defiance, and his fiance Taylor Alexander of Defiance. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Reynaldo Jimenez, Jr., and aunt, Miranda Jimenez. Visitation will be held from 2-8 pm on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance, and for one hour prior to service on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 21st at Schaffer Funeral Home, with Pastor Jay Scott officiating. Burial will follow the service at Riverside Cemetery.
