Marcile "Penny" Elizabeth Eccard, 60, of Defiance, passed away peacefully at her home on  July 9, 2013.

She was born on November 11, 1952 to Albert and Marcile (Cross) Eccard in Defiance, OH.

Penny was a member of First Assembly of God. She enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls, music boxes, crocheting, and spending time with her cat, Baby, and other pets.
Penny lived in Defiance, Ohio.

Penny is survived by her daughter, Amy (Scott) Blackburn of Anderson, IN, son, Daniel Eccard of Defiance, OH, daughter, Anna (Brandon) Zartman of Defiance, OH, granddaughter, Allison Blackburn, grandson, Logan Blackburn, grandson, Tristen  Zartman, brother, Albert Richard Eccard Jr. of Melrose, OH, brother, Art (Anita) Eccard of Oklahoma City, OK.

She was preceded in death by father, Albert Richard Eccard Sr., mother, Marcile Marie Eccard.

A memorial service will be held at the First Assembly of God in Defiance, Ohio on Thursday July 18, 2013 at 1:00 pm, with Pastors Randy & Sandy Wilson officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service at the church. Burial after Cremation will take place at Maumee Cemetery in Antwerp, OH.
