Manuel C. Robles Mr. Manuel C. Robles, age 84, of Defiance, Oh , passed away at 3:50 P:M , Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 at Mercy Hospital of Defiance. Mr. Robles was born in Comerio, Puerto Rico, on June 19, 1923, he was the son of the late Domingo and Dominga (Ramon) Robles He was a member of St. John Catholic Church Defiance, Oh. He was mechanically certified. He was the widower of Maria Guadalupe (Ramon) Robles. They were married May 21, 1960 and she died April 28, 1998. He was employed at at G.M. Central Foundry for for 32 years retiring in 1985. Surviving are 4 Daughters: Susan Pizana of Corpus Christi, Texas, Cathy (Joe) Gonzales of Temperance, Mich., Dominga Robles of Defiance, Maria (Rodney) Gomez of Defiance 4 Sons: Manuel (Joyce) Robles Jr. of Killen, Texas, Santos (Dana) Robles of Atlanta, Ga., Joe Robles of Defiance, Oh, Cecilio Robles of Defiance, Oh 2 Brothers: Felipe Robles of West Virginia, Marcelino (Lily) Robles of Puerto Rico He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Proceded in death by his wife, a son Jesus, three brothers- Cecilio, Alfonso, and Faustino. Three sisters- Cecilia, Maria, Julia and Dominga. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated12:00 Noon Friday , May 9th, at at St. John Catholic Church, Defiance, Oh. with Father Todd Dominique officiating. Friends are invited to call Thursday 2-8 at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home. There will be a 7:30 P:M Prayer service Thursday at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home. Interment at Riverside Cemetery - Defiance, Oh. Suggested memorials are to the Donor's Choice.
