Madonna "Donna" Mae Robbins, 70, of Defiance, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, surrounded by her loving family, in the comfort of her home. She was born on June 18, 1945 to Joseph and Ruth (Kleinhen) Delarber in Defiance. On December 20, 1963 she married Aaron Paul Robbins, who resides in Defiance. Donna was a member of The Gathering Place Church in Defiance. She was a collector of all things beautiful, shiny, and breakable. She loved flowers, and she enjoyed the season of  Christmas, but was not a fan of plain white lights. She was also very fond of water, whether it was the pool, the beach, or a pond...she found it peaceful. Donna will be greatly missed by her loving spouse of  51 years, Paul Robbins of Defiance, children Jeffery (Carol) Robbins of Defiance, Randy (Sharisa) Robbins of Defiance,  Tracy (Craig) Steinmetz of Angola, Indiana, Barry (Nicole) Robbins of Defiance, Jennifer (Adam) Buchman of Lewis Center, Ohio, and Tricia Flory of Defiance, 14 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, sisters, Francis Mack, Mary Crist, Virginia Wilhelm, and  Anna Cavanaugh, and brother, Lawrence Delarber. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Joseph Delarber, brothers, Bob, Daniel, and Paul Delarber, a sister, Gert Hoschak, son-in-law Eric Flory, and granddaughter, Jordan Flory. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am  on Monday, November 23, 2015 at The Gathering Place Church, Defiance, with Pastors Richard and Linda Buttermore officiating.
