Madonna  D. Breckler, 89, of Defiance, passed away on  Friday, December 23, 2016 at Glen Park of Defiance.

She was born on January 1, 1927 to Michael and Evelyn (Liska) Breckler in Defiance, Ohio. Donna was a member of St Mary Catholic Church in Defiance.  She owned and operated farmlands in Paulding and Defiance counties.  Donna enjoyed traveling and was a flight attendant for United Airlines for 59 years as well as a registered nurse.  She helped provide transportation for our military troops during Desert Storm and other deployments.  Donna enjoyed her conversations with our military heroes. She loved to listen to music and go dancing.

Donna is survived by her many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Evelyn Breckler; brothers, John Breckler and Michael Breckler; and sisters, Revella Willitzer, Mary Mansfield, Evelyn Wurst, and Reba Breckler.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2016, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial
will follow at 11:00 am at the St Mary Catholic Church, Defiance, Ohio, with Father Randy Giesige, officiating.  Burial will take place in the Riverside Cemetery.
