M. Lorraine Grim M. Lorraine Grim, age 82, of Defiance, OH , passed away at 11:40 P:M , Monday, June 30th, 2008 at Toledo Hospital, Toledo, Oh. Mrs. Grim was born in Uniontown, PA on April 15, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Francis J. and Flossie O. (Tressler) Murphy. She was a member of the Defiance Church of the Brethren and a homemaker. She was the widow of Rev. John E. Grim. They were married on June 2, 1946 and he died Dec. 17, 2000. Surviving are a Daughter: Martha (Paul) Punches of Defiance, OH 2- Sons: J. D. (Karen) Grim of Defiance and Francis P (Rita) Grim of Sherwood, OH a Brother: Francis (Marge) Murphy of Defiance, sister in law Ethel Murphy of Defiance and a great aunt Minnie Murphy of Uniontown, Pa. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by brothers- Thomas (Ken) Murphy and Cyrill who died in infancy. Memorial Services will held at 11:00 A:M Friday July 4 in the Defiance Church of the Brethren. Officiating will be Rev. Gene Yenser . Friends are invited to call 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday in the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home, Defiance. There will be private family interment services at Evansport cemetery. Suggested memorials are to the Defiance Church of the Brethren or to the Gideons.
