M. Janet  Eichenauer, 74, of Defiance, passed away on  June 14, 2013 at the Laurels of Defiance, OH.

She was born on July 22, 1938 to Daniel and Glenna (March) Eichenauer in Bryan, OH. She graduated from Ayersville High School in 1957. Janet  worked as a Nurses Aide for Defiance Hospital for 13 years, for J.C. Penny, and Nobles Shoe Store. Janet lived in Defiance, Ohio and was a member of First Baptist Church of Defiance.

Janet  is survived by her brothers, Daniel D. Eichenauer Jr. of Sherwood, OH, Dean (Heidi) Eichenauer of Friona, TX, sister, Di Ann (Bernard) Mock of Wauseon, OH.

She was preceded in death by father, Daniel Dale Eichenauer Sr., mother, Glenna A. Eichenauer, & sister-in-law, Hazel Eichenauer.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 18th, 2013 from 10:00 am until the 1:00 pm funeral services begin, at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio. Rev. Timothy Yazel will officiate.

Burial will take place in the Hill Cemetery.
