Lynn Alan Wickerham, 68, of Defiance, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from an accident near his home.
He was born on April 12, 1948 to Ormal and Helen (Colgan) Wickerham in Defiance. Lynn was a graduate of Bowling Green State University. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Defiance, and enjoyed filming the church services. Lynn loved the theater, and was a board member of the Village Players in Hicksville, Ohio. He was an Independent Film Maker, and worked as a film editor for Fox 36 in Toledo. Lynn has an unfinished documentary film on WWII. He worked for Murphy Mart in Defiance, and at Phillips in Ottawa and shot training films. Lynn loved anything relating to film making, and he enjoyed television shows about talent. He was a Detroit Tigers baseball fan, and a car and truck enthusiast.
Lynn is survived by his mother, Helen Wickerham of Defiance, brother Vaun (Deborah) Wickerham of Findlay, nephew Adam Wickerham of Venice, California, and niece Amanda (Ray) Flores of Gilbert, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ormal Wickerham.
Funeral services and burial will be private. Burial will take place in the Myers Cemetery.
