Lucille R. Hoeffel Lucille R. Hoeffel, age 86, of Defiance, Oh , passed away at 9:21 A:M , Monday, August 11th, 2008 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born in New Bavaria, Ohio on December 9, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Margaret (Ensman) Wilhelm She was a member of St. John Catholic Church -Defiance, Oh. She was the widow of Leo J. Hoeffel who died Oct. 25, 1992. Surviving are 3 Daughter(s): Clara (Dan) Wallen of Defiance, Oh, Margaret (Lee) Mathys of Defiance, Oh, Lori Schafer of Defiance, Oh 2 Son(s): Lee (Rosemary) Hoeffel of Defiance, Oh, Jerry (Pam) Hoeffel of Arizona Sister: Margaret Selleck of New Bavaria, Oh. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by 6 brothers- Wiley, Willard, Alvin, Albert, Walter and John Wilhelm. 3 sitters deceased- Kate Diehl, Dorothy Gebhart, and Betty McGuire. One deceased grandchild and two deceased great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St. John Catholic Church, Defiance, Oh. at 10:00 A:M on Thursday, August 14th, with Father Todd Dominique officiating. Friends are invited to call Wednesday 6-8 at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home. A 7:30 P:M Rosary Service Wednesday at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home.
