Louis C. Foran Louis C. Foran, 82, of Defiance, Oh passed away Wednesday, May 12th, 2010 in his home. He was born in Detroit , Michigan on June 6, 1927, he was the son of the late Louis and Bernice (Bowles) Foran. Lou served in the U.S. Air Force for over 21 years retiring as a Master Sgt. He entered the Army Air Corp. in 1946 and was discharged in 1968 from the Air Force. He formerly worked for Top Value Stamps in Dayton. He married Glenna (Pierce) Foran who died January 2, 2005. Surviving are Step Daughter: Mona Murray of San Jose, Ca., Marcia (Pete) Murray Holstrom of San Jose, Ca. Step Sons: Marcus (Katherine Dobbs) Murray of Xenia, Oh. and Morris (Anne) Murray of Defiance, Sister: Grace Audrey Rodgers and nephew Mark Rodgers both of Washington state. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren: Shannon (Murray) Lacy, Amanda (Holstrom) Lubbs, Harry Holstrom, Pierce Holstrom, Amelia Holstrom, Jessica Stroia, Bruce Stroia, Sarah Murray,Scott Murray, Sean Murray, Shea Murray and Samantha Murray. Memorial services will be at 11:15 A:M Saturday, May 22, in the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home where VFW Post # 3360 will conduct honorary military services. Interment will be in Rockland Cemetery in Belpre, Oh.
