Lois M Toth, 76, of Defiance, passed away on  Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at St. Vincent's Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.

She was born on September 30, 1937 to Adolf and Clara (Vosz) Hanke in Defiance Co, OH.   On July 30, 1965 Lois married Franklin Toth.

Lois was a life member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, where she was baptized and confirmed.  She was a graduate of the Northeastern Local School Systems.  Lois worked at Campbell Soup Company retiring after 25+ years.  She bowled in the Henry County Women's Bowling Leagues, was an avid reader, a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed traveling.  She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends..

Lois is survived by her loving husband,  Franklin, daughter, Marilyn (Michael) Shoup of Defiance, son, David (Robin (Wilson)) Toth of Ottawa, grandchildren, Christina (Shawn) Triplett of Montpelier, Joshua Toth of Bowling Green, Ryan Toth of Cincinnati, Michael Swagger of Columbus, Brandon Wilson of Ottawa, Haley Wilson of Napoleon, Cody Hunt of Ottawa, great grandchildren, Alicia Jo, Mason D. &, Dakota J.  Baker of Montpelier, Noah Wilson of Napoleon,  Ross & Lilly Wilson of Ottawa, Anthony & Silvia Swagger of Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Daniel Toth and in-laws, Alex & Irene Toth.

Funeral services will be held at 11;00 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2014, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Defiance Co. with Rev. Robbie Ketcham officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance and 10-11 a.m. Monday at the church..

The family suggest memorials be made to the American Heart Association or to the wishes of the family.
