Lois C Gibler, 84, of Bowling Green, formerly of Evansport, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Bowling Green Health Care Center in Bowling Green, Ohio. She was born on September 9, 1934 to Harry and Beatrice (Hendershott) Ghaster in Findlay, Ohio. On August 5, 1978 she married George Gibler, who preceded  her in death on July 9, 1996.  Lois was a lifetime member of  VFW #3360 Auxiliary. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan, and spending time with her family was her greatest joy. Lois is survived by her daughter, Arnita (Ranae) Vogelsong of Fostoria, OH, stepson, Lewis (Sandy) Gibler of Paulding, OH, two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, and two grand-puppies, AJ and Rennie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Gibler, stepson, George L. Gibler, and stepdaughters, Shirley Gibler and Mary McKenzie. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, with Deb Miller officiating. Burial will follow the service at Evansport Cemetery.
