Linda L. Hickey, age 68, of Defiance, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025 at the Laurel's of Defiance She was born on September 23, 1956 to Floyd and Betty (Schaffer) Struble in Bryan, OH. Linda worked as a welder for Dana Corporation. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Defiance. Linda was a very independent woman. She enjoyed shopping, especially with her granddaughter, Jayden. Jayden was her world and she loved every moment they spent together. She will be missed by all of her family members and friends. Linda is survived by her daughter, Amber Read of Defiance, granddaughter, Jayden Sisley of Defiance, brothers, David Struble of Fort Wayne, IN and Mark Struble of Toledo, OH and her cat, Smokey.

She was preceded in death by parents. To honor Linda's wishes, there will be no services held at this time. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association or to Dementia Society of America. Online condolences can be given at www.Schafferfh.com.
