Lillie B. Brown, of Defiance, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 4, 2014 at the CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center, Defiance, OH.

She was born on December 15, to Burns and Roxie (Deel) Baldwin in Wilco, WV. In 1940 she married Frank Brown who preceded her in death.

Lillie is survived by her three daughters; Jean Newberry of Defiance, OH, Frances (Larry) Hall of Defiance, OH, & Vicki (Thomas) Crouse of Bryan, OH, and a son, Donald (Linda) Brown of Nashville, TN. Lillie has 4 Grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Pearl Ratliff, brothers, Lawrence, Lonnie, & Everett Baldwin, and a son-in-law, Ronald Newberry.

Lillie retired from Zeller Corp. in 1989. She enjoyed fishing, bingo, and playing cards. She especially enjoyed her birthday and Christmas when she would receive lots of gifts. She will be greatly missed by family and all her friends, who knew her by "Charlie Brown." God bless you Lillie, Heaven awaits.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 08, 2014 from 11:00 am until the funeral services begin at 1:00 pm, with Deacon Jeff Mayer officiating, at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio.

Burial will take place in the Riverview Memory Gardens.

Memorials are suggested to the CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center and/or the Defiance Senior Center.
