Leslie John "Les" Guelde, 61, of Paulding, passed away on Friday October 13, 2023 at Brookview Healthcare Center in Defiance, Ohio. Les was born on August 16, 1962 to Herman and Jean (Webb) Guelde in Paulding, Ohio. He was a 1980 graduate of Defiance High School. Les worked as a coordinator for Campbell Soup Company in Napoleon, OH for 40 years until his retirement in 2021. He was a true grill master and took great delight in feeding his family and friends.  Les was an avid fan of NASCAR, Miami Dolphins, Cincinnati Reds, and The Ohio State Buckeyes, and he loved listening to music. Les is survived by his loving children, Nick (Andrea) Guelde of Hicksville, OH, Tyler Guelde of Paulding, OH, Justin (Haley) Guelde of Bryan, OH, and Ashley (Jason) Pratt of Defiance, four grandchildren; Jackson, Izabel, Landon and Liberty Guelde, his father Herman  Guelde of Paulding, OH, his brother, Jim (Pam) Guelde of Paulding, OH, and his sisters, Shelle (Chris) Reinhart of Hicksville, OH, and Tanya and Tiffany Yost, both of Michigan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Guelde. There will be no visitation or memorial service at this time. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
