Lela E. Sharman, 85, of Defiance, left us to her home in heaven on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at her residence. She is now a sweet flower in the Master's bouquet. She was born on March 17, 1930 to Howard and Ocie (McClure) Switzer in Defiance, Ohio. Lela was a 1948 graduate of Defiance High School. On June 13, 1948 she married Scott Sharman. They were married for 67 wonderful years, and were blessed with a wonderful son, Dennis. Lela worked at Miller's Hamburger Shop for 6 years, and at Fulton Tubing ITT in Archbold for 29 1/2 years, retiring in 1992. She was a collector of fine jewelry and diamonds, and was known as "Diamond Lil".  She enjoyed shopping and collecting many things. Lela is survived by her loving spouse of  67 years, husband Scott Sharman of Defiance, son, Dennis (Shannon) Sharman of Defiance, grandsons Jason and Jermy Sharman, many nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law Clarence Rozevink and Richard (Diane) Sharman, and sister-in-law Joan (Bert) Riches. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Ocie Switzer, sister Wilda Rozevink, and niece Linda Stark. Visitation will be held  from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Schaffer Funeral  Home, Defiance.Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, with  Pastor Rosene Moseley officiating.
