Lee G. Mack, 78, of Defiance, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Mercy Defiance Hospital. He was born on March 25, 1945, to Alexius and Viola (Bohrer) Mack in Bryan, Ohio. After high school Lee attended Defiance College and Tennessee Tech. On December 22, 1983, he married Nancy (Hetz) McDonald who resides in Defiance. Lee worked in Management at DMP in Defiance and also in International Sales at Aro Corp in Bryan, OH. He was a huge fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, and in his leisure time he enjoyed golfing. Lee took great pride in his work and loved spending time with his family and grandkids. No distance was too far for him to attend their sporting events to show his support. He also loved caring for his five pets. Lee will be sadly missed by his family and many good friends. Lee is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Nancy Mack of Defiance, and his children, Christy (Steve) Lefere of Jackson, MI, Tony Mack of Ft. Myers, FL, and Terry (Rachelle) McDonald of Defiance. He also leaves behind his grandchildren; Robby Lefere and Tim Lefere of Jackson, MI, and Madison Daniels, Caroline McDonald and Katherine McDonald, all of Defiance. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings; Wanda L. Mack Andrews, Kenneth A. Mack, Dolores A. Mack, Marlene "Pat" Biler, and Jean Robinson. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 2:00 - 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. There will be no services. Memorials are suggested to The Defiance Athletic Boosters.
