Leann D. Schwab Leann D. Schwab, 78, of Defiance, passed away Sunday, May 27th, 2012 at Laurels of Defiance. She was born in Defiance, Ohio on May 23, 1934, she was the daughter of the late J. Howard and Dorothy (Zenz) Mack. A 1952 graduate of Defiance High School and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church . Over the years, Leann worked in a number of positions including as a Realtor. She enjoyed spending time and playing games with friends and family. She especially loved crossword puzzles, scrabble and chocolate chip cookies. She will be sadly missed by a daughter: Sara Schwab of San Francisco, Ca. three sons: Michael (Nancy) Doster of Bend, Oregon, Jon Steven (Sharon) Doster of Toledo, Mark Schwab of Boulder, Co. sisters: Corinne Buff of Edgerton, Oh., Marlene (Phil) Lantow of Defiance, Sharon (Eckel) Lane of Midland, Mi., Suzanne (Joe) Butler of Defiance, brothers: George (Jeanine) Mack of Grand Rapids, Mi., Greg (Dianne) Mack of Dublin, Oh. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Cristina, Nick Emily and Dan Doster. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Howard Mack, Adlai Mack and sister: Mary Ann Schafer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St. Mary Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 31st, with Father Randy Giesige officiating. Friends are invited to call Wednesday 4-8 at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
