Larry W. (Butch) Wentz Larry W. (Butch) Wentz, age 66, of Defiance, Oh , passed away at 8:10 A:M , Saturday, September 27th, 2008 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center. Larry was born in Wauseon, Ohio on April 30, 1942, he was the son of the late Virgil and Myrtle (Decker) Wentz He was a U. S. Army veteran and served in Germany. He was previously employed at S & K Tools in Defiance. In the 70's and 80's he had worked at Beatrice Foods G. & W. Pizza now called Frozen Food Specialties. He attended Fayette schools. He was a member of the Defiance VFW, the Am Vets, and Eagles. He was a big Buckeye fan, N.Y. Yankees fan, and enjoyed going to garage sales and flea markets. Larry loved being with his grandchildren Surviving are a Daughter: Sarena (Drew) Toadvine of Delta, Ohio a Son: Butch (Jana) Wentz of Pettisville, Ohio 2 Sisters: Shirley (Rod) Ely of Fayette, Ohio and Skeeter (Don) Bird of Fayette, Ohio He is also survived by 5 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be at at Riverside Cemetery in Defiance, Oh. at 10:00 on Thursday, October 2nd, with VFW Post # 3360 officiating.
