Larry E. Starr, 59 died in his home in Defiance, OH on Saturday, March 2, 2019. Larry was born March 6th, 1959 in West Virginia to the late Henry and Waverell (Dempsey) Starr. He retired after many years, from GM Central Foundry. He loved family dinners and spending time with family and friends. He was a carpenter by trade and loved working on his vehicles. He will be missed by everyone including his dog, Brandy. He had some really great friends who spent a lot of time with him since childhood. Larry is survived by his children Angel (Mike Smith) Starr of Defiance, Heath (Stacy) Starr of Convoy and Monica (Corey) Lemely of Defiance. He also had 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Brothers: Henry Lee (Brenda) Starr of Defiance, Donald (Jean) Starr of Ft. Wayne and Jack (Debbie) Starr of Defiance. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Joyce and brother Andy. Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 7th at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home.
