Larry K. Moore Sr. Larry K. Moore Sr., 78, of Defiance, passed away Tuesday, March 14th, 2017 at Laurels of Defiance. He was born in Defiance, Ohio on November 4, 1938, to the late Lowell and Helen (Osborn) Moore. On December 24, 1958 he married Mildred A. Barber who died February 23, 2016. Larry was life long resident of Defiance and worked for the Defiance Highway Department. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp, a member of the Marine Corp League, Defiance County REACT and a helped with the USMC Toys for Tots Drive. He bowled in leagues for years. He will be missed by daughters: Tina Moore of Defiance, Karen Knight of North Kingston, Rhode Island, Anita Eis of Perrysburg, son: Larry (Heidi) Moore Jr. of Napoleon, brothers: roger P. Moore of Oakwood, Michael Moore of Defiance, a sister Jeanne Bauman, 9 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred, parents and a grandson Joseph J. Juska Jr. Services are private for the family. Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens. Suggested memorials are to the donor's choice.
