Larry D Manifold, 69, of Camden, MI passed away on 3:50pm Wednesday afternoon, June 12, 2013 at IU Health Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, IN.

He was born on October 19, 1943 to Calvin and Helen (Long) Manifold in Hudson, MI.  On September 6, 1974 he married Nancy (Justinger) Manifold.

Larry honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War receiving two Purple Hearts and a Silver Star. He worked many years at Fulton Tubing/ITT Industries, Archbold until his retirement in 2002.  He enjoyed football and basketball and loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening.  Larry also raised animals.

Larry is survived by his loving spouse of 38 years, Nancy, step-mother, Pauline Tackett of Vandalia, ILL, sons, Todd (Faye) Martin of Edon, OH, Bill (Lori) Martin of Osseo, MI, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a sister, Patricia (Darrel) Noyce of CO.

He was preceded in death by his parents,and a brother, Thomas Manifold.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, OH with Pastor Max Begley officiating. Burial will follow in Hedges Cemetery, Jackson Twp. Paulding Co. Military honors provided by the VFW Post #3360, Defiance.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 pm Monday, June 17, 2013 and from 10-11:00 am Tuesday. June 17, 2013 at the funeral home.

The family suggest memorials be made to the donor's choice.
