Larry D Lynn, 61, of Defiance, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the Toledo Hospital.

He was born on August 27, 1951 to Kenneth and Georgia (Simpson) Lynn in Glasgow, KY.  Larry is survived by his wife of 40 years Connie (Rettig) Lynn who he married on August 26, 1972.  He is also survived by his mom, Georgia Lynn, children, Sean (Leslie) Lynn of Cincinnati, OH, Stephanie (Fiance Adam Schweigert) Lynn of Columbus, OH, Michael Lynn of Defiance, two grandchildren Victoria and Keller, three brothers, Ken (Linda) Lynn of Orlando, FL, Daryl (Mary) Lynn of Stryker, OH, Jerry (Sharon) Lynn of Defiance, OH.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Lynn, and a granddaughter, Charlotte.

Larry was a proud dad and grandpa.  He was a member of Trinity United Methodist for many years.  He was a 1969 graduate of Defiance High School. Larry worked at GM Powertrain for over 30 years, retiring in 2006.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 26, 2012, at 11:00 am at Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance, Ohio, with Rev. Joe Graves officiating.

Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens.
