Larry L. "Lee" Weible Jr., 56, of Antwerp, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN.
He was born on November 15, 1956 in Van Wert, Ohio and was the son of Larry and Louise (Williams-Ward) Weible. Larry graduated from Defiance High School in 1975, and after graduation he worked for Isaac's several years. Known as "Pork Chop" on the CB, he was a self-employed truck driver and also drove for D & M Express. Larry coached and volunteered with the Defiance Blue Dolphins and liked to make people laugh. He took pride in his tomato plants and enjoyed doing yard work.
Larry is survived by his parents, Larry Sr. and Louise Weible both of Defiance, companion, Beth Trembach of Antwerp, sons, Chad (Dana) Weible of Pioneer, OH, Sam (Rhonda) Weible of Napoleon, Travis (Yvonne) Weible of Napoleon, grandchilden, Hannah, Cheyene, Libertti, Kainon, Francisco, Payton, Shaylynn & Drake, sister, Laura (Jim) Wolsiffer of Swanton, brother, Tim (Jean Ann) Weible of Defiance, and his loving dog Chelsea.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013, at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Larry Kennedy officiating.
Following his wishes, his ashes will be scattered in his favorite spot.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Diabetis Foundation or to the American Heart Association.
