Larry Lee Keys, 70, of Defiance, passed away on  August 9, 2013 at the Defiance ProMedica  Regional Hospital.

He was born on January 20, 1943 to Ford and Helen (McFetters) Keys in Defiance, OH. Larry worked in maintenance for Defiance College for 16 years.

He was a member of Defiance Moose Lodge and also worked at Tomco Plastics in Bryan, and the Senior Center.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Penny Sue (Charlie) Backle of Defiance, OH, sister, Mildred Noggle of Payne, OH, brother, Harold Keys of Defiance, OH, sister, Pauline Cordray of Defiance, OH, and brother, Robert (Judy) Keys of Sherwood, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Gladys Eichenhorst, brother, Leon "Buss" Gallant, sister, Ethel Goodwin, brother, Donald Keys, sister, Betty DeVault.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 12, 2013 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, 11:00 am at the Schaffer Funeral  Home, Defiance, Ohio, with Rev. Ned Speiser officiating.

Burial will take place at Evansport Cemetery.
