Kirsten J. Urbina, 24, Defiance, died on July 12, 2018 at University Hospital, Ann Arbor, Michigan, from an extended illness. She will truly be missed. She was born January 19, 1994 in Defiance, to Patricia (Robert) Charleston, Oakwood, who survives, along with her sister, Kira Charleston, and niece Aleesia, both at home. Survivors also include grandparents Mary (Gerald) Friesner, Oakwood; Danny (Kathy) Fairchild, Hickory, NC; and Guadalupe (Virginia) Urbina, Defiance, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved her deeply. Kirsten was a member of First Church of God and was a 2012 GED graduate from Defiance High School. She loved to sing, dance, and play basketball but especially enjoyed being an aunt to Aleesia and making people laugh. Visitation will be Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 2:00 - 8:00PM at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home, Defiance. A funeral service honoring Kirsten's life will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 at 11:00AM at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Chapel Cemetery, Oakwood.
