Kim Renee Sonnenberg, age 60, of Holgate, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at her residence. She was born on March 13, 1963 to the late Harold and Martha (Little) Pollock in Defiance, Ohio. On  July 4, 1998 she married Allan Sonnenberg, who survives. Kim was a member of New Life Worship Center in Bryan, Ohio, Defiance VFW #3360 Auxiliary, AmVets #1991, and Eagles #372. She loved her collection of owls, and enjoyed playing cards and watching "The Golden Girls" and "Reba". Kim will be sadly missed by her family and many good friends. Kim is survived by her loving husband, Allan Sonnenberg of Holgate, her daughter, Jessica (James Gilliam Jr.) Pollock, and her sons, Jason Heil and Jeremy (Kasandra Segur) Heil, all of Holgate, OH. She also leaves behind her stepchildren, Pete Sonnenberg of Paulding, Jenny (Keith Bryan) Swann of Florida, and Lisa Brown of Bryan, OH, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, her sister, Cheryl Rickles of Defiance, and brothers, Ted Pollock and Tony Pollock, both of Oklahoma, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Mike Pollock, and grandson, Izziah Pollock.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
