Obituary

Kim Lee Chehi, 59, of Defiance, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Twin Rivers Care and Rehabilitation Center in Defiance.

He was born on June 20, 1957 to Lewis and Helen (Westfall) Chehi in Hicksville, Ohio.  Kim served our country in the U.S. Army. His spouse Linda (Deatrick) Chehi resides in Defiance.

Kim was a member of Zion's Lutheran Church in Defiance, and was a lifetime member and Chaplain of AMVETS in Defiance. He was a Notary Public, and he enjoyed playing the banjo and guitar, karaoke, CB radios, movies, art, and he was a certified storm chaser.

Kim is survived by his loving spouse, Linda Kay Chehi of Defiance one daughter, sisters, Betty Sprow of Hicksville, and  Pam (Ivan) Talmage of Grand Rapids, Ohio, step-children, Sandy Snyder and Terry Bock.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, and 2 sisters.

A Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Zion's  Lutheran Church in Defiance, with Pastor Timothy G. Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Military Rites will be accorded by AMVETS Post #1991 at the church and cemetery.
