Kevin L. Athy, age 67, of Defiance, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 in Defiance, Ohio. He was born in Montpelier, Ohio on April 7, 1955 to Robert and Cora (Turner) Athy. Kevin was a 1973 graduate of Defiance High School. He enjoyed fishing and was know as a "jack of all trades". Kevin is survived by his children; Joshua Athy of Richmond, IN, Sean (Kristin) Athy of Auburn, IN, and Tori Athy of Michigan, three grandchildren, his mother, Cora Athy of Defiance, his brothers; Jamie Athy of Defiance, Michael (Dixie) Athy of Elkhart, IN, and Robin (Tresae) Athy Sr. of West Unity, OH, his sister, Kimberly Lovett of Wauseon, OH,  and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Athy, and his brother, Rodney Athy. There will be no services at this time. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
