Kent D. Bowling Kent D. Bowling, age 59, of Defiance, passed away suddenly, Saturday, January 21st, 2017 at his home. He was born in Defiance, on August 7, 1957, he was the son of the late Leland and Betty (Hardy) Bowling. Kent was a 1975 graduated of Ayersville High School. He was employed at G.M. Central Foundry/Powertrain for 24 years, retiring in 2000. He was member of the U.A.W. Surviving are sons: Gannon Bowling and Shane Bowling, sisters: Christyna Bowling, Darlene Thompson-Urivez, brothers: La Von (Colleen) Bowling, Charley (Rita) Bowling and sister in law Judy Bowling all of Defiance. 3 grandchildren: Garin, Shyne and Christopher. Kent was preceded in death by a brother Gary Bowling and his parents. Private services will be for the family. At the family's request there will be no visitation.
