Kenneth  "Mark" Cavin, 36 , of Alvordton, Ohio, died suddenly on the evening of  March  5, 2017 at Community Hospital and Wellness Center in Bryan, Ohio.

Mark was born on July 25, 1980 in Paulding, Ohio to Kenneth Cavin and Debbie Hockenbury. Mark attended Tinora Schools and he worked in Bryan, Ohio. Mark was a fun and charismatic man who loved to tell stories, root for his Kentucky Wildcats, and be around his family. He was saved through God's good grace and has gone to live with his Heavenly Father. Mark's laugh was contagious, and his spark for life lives on in his family.

Mark leaves his two children, Christian and Delanie Cavin, his parents, Kenneth (Tina ) Cavin, and Debbie (Carlos) Hockenbury, and his four siblings; Lori (Josh) Spencer, Kendra (John) Noss, Alex (Melony) Yocklin, and Cortney Yocklin. He is also survived by his companion, Regina Cavin, and several aunts, uncles, nieces,  nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Barbara Ann Bruner and Ralph C. Bruner, and his paternal grandparents, Maudie Cavin and Wilburn D. Cavin.

A Memorial gathering will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A Memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm on Tuesday at Schaffer Funeral Home, with Rev. Denny Hunter officiating.
