Kaye C. Money, age 85 of Defiance, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Glenn Park of Defiance surrounded by her family. She was born on September 7, 1937 to the late Herbert and Nellie Krohn in Grelton, Ohio. Kaye served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1956. On July 14, 1956 she married Jack L. Money, who preceded her in death on December 4, 2021. For several years Kaye and Jack made and distributed comfort bears to children at the Paulding County Hospital. Kaye was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother.

Kaye will be greatly missed by her children; Peg (Steve) Dietrich of Sidney, OH, Mary (Larry) Holley of Defiance, Beverly (Fred Woll) Money of Littleton, CO, and Andy (Malinda) Money of Indianapolis, IN, ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack, and one brother. There will be no visitation or services. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements. Memorials are suggested to Habitat for Humanity or Wounded Warriors.
