Kathryn Martin Kathryn Martin, 92, of Defiance, Oh, passed away Thursday, March 1st, 2012 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born in Miami, FL on September 12, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Mary M. (Roberts) Wright. She married John W. Martin July 24, 1938 and he died March 27, 2007. Kathryn worked as a manager at an office supply store, the Stuart News in Florida and part time nursing. Surviving are a half sister: Doris Harp of Defiance and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband John and sisters Virginia Munch and Marie Bill and half sister Myrtle Dewitt. Services are private for the family. Burial will be in Payne Cemetery.
