Kathleen M. M. Patterson, age 73 of Defiance, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born on May 2, 1951 to Nelson and Joanne (Quinn) Marsh in Toledo, Ohio. Kathleen was a graduate of Rogers High School in Toledo. On May 9, 1973 she married Danny Patterson, who survives. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed collecting cat figurines and doing word search puzzles. Kathleen is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Danny Patterson Sr., her son, Danny A. (Lisa) Patterson Jr. of Montpelier, her grandchildren, Darren and Jessica Patterson, and brother, Larry (Lynn) Marsh of Cleveland, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, John Marsh. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home, with Rev. Mike Hasselbring officiating. Memorials are suggested to CHP Defiance Area Hospice, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
