Kathleen Faye Sullivan, 63 , of Defiance, passed away on March 7, 2017 at the CHP Defiance Area Hospice Inpatient Center surrounded by family and friends.

She was born on September 26, 1953 to Robert and Maxine (Griffin) Hocking in Charlevoix, MI. On April 5, 1997 she married Larry Sullivan, who survives.

Kathleen is also survived by her children, Veronica (Mark) Butler, Carmen (Paul) Bodenburg, William (Sara) Paholak, and, Jason Paholak, 12 Grandchildren, and several brothers and sisters.

Per her request, Kathleen graciously donated her remains to science at the University of Michigan. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Spanky's in Defiance, beginning at 12 noon.
