Karson M. Botek-Quillen, 53 minutes old, of Bryan, passed away on  Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. He was born on the morning of May 23, 2018 to Michael Quillen and Sydney Botek of Bryan, Ohio. Although his time on this earth was very short, it was important to his family that Karson was Baptized. Karson will be sadly missed by his parents, Michael D. Quillen and Sydney Botek of Bryan, grandparents, Joe and Carol Botek of Defiance, and Robert and Vicki Quillen of Bryan, uncles, Jacob and Zach Botek of Defiance, and Matt Quillen of Bryan. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, with Pastor Scott Carlin officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

Sydney and Michael would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and staff who cared for Karson, especially at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
