Julie A Yaross, 65, of Defiance,and formerly of Toledo, Ohio and Milwaukee, Wisconsin,  passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the Laurels of Defiance, with her sister by her side. She was born on January 22, 1950 to Chester and Alice (Foltynski) Yaross in Toledo, Ohio. Julie worked as a Medical Transcriptionist for the Toledo Mental Health Center, and St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee, retiring in 2012. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Defiance. Julie loved singing in church, cross stitch, and spending time at her favorite place on earth, Walt Disney World. Julie is survived by her sister, Cathy Saneda of Defiance, niece, Alicia (Robert) Shelton of Atlanta, Georgia, cousin, Karen (Dirk) Esmonde of Lima, Ohio, an aunt and cousins in the Toledo area, and her dog Fred. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Alice Yaross. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Grace Episcopal Church in Defiance.
