Judith "Judy" Jane Castillo Tovar, 64, of Holgate, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on February 12, 1954 to the late Alfredo G. Castillo and Judith  Martinez, and also daughter to Maria V. Castillo. Judy was a member of  Hebron Ministries in Defiance. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, needle point, and sewing. Judy always remembered friends and family on their birthdays. Judy is survived by her son, Genaro Tovar (Allison Stoller), sisters, Elizabeth (Jon) Edwards, and Patricia Castillo (Cheryl Hanson), brothers, Mario Gonzalez,  Erasmo Gonzales (Melba Lynn Perez), Pablo (Beth) Castillo, Gilbert Martinez, granddaughter Hannah Tovar, nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Tracy Tovar, and sister, Esmeralda "Ezzy" Cottman. A Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Riverside Cemetery, with Pastor Vincent Cantu officiating. A dinner will follow at Hebron Ministries.
