Judy Rae Jennings, 74, of Defiance, peacefully passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at her home in Defiance.

She was born on September 4, 1943 to Roy and Ruth (Grimes) Grunden in Defiance. On February 16, 1963 she married Ray Jennings, who resides in Defiance. Judy worked for Fort Defiance Community Credit Union for over 20 years, and she also worked as a beautician.

Judy was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, going to lunch with the girls, watching her favorite TV shows, taking car rides, going out to eat, and spending time with her loving husband, her children, and grandchildren.

Judy is survived by her loving spouse of 54 years Ray, daughter, Shelly (Mike Rodriguez) Perrine of Defiance, son, Sam (Kelly) Jennings of Haskins, OH, grandchildren, Cassy, Mariah, Ben, AJ, Hana, Cole, and Zane, great-grandchildren, Antonio and Layla, and sister, Shirley Guilford.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 2nd at St John's Catholic Church, with Father Eric Mueller officiating. Burial will follow the service at Riverside Cemetery.
