Judith Cleaves, 64, of Defiance, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017 at her home in Defiance.

She was born on May 5, 1953 to Patrick and Beverly (Gatza) Lime in Saint Mary's, Ohio. On March 31, 1972 she married Max Cleaves, who resides in Defiance. Judy was a member of Auglaize Village Cowboy Club. She attended Ayersville United Methodist Church and enjoyed the activities, especially the breakfasts. She had a great love for cats and farm animals.

Judith will be sadly missed by her loving spouse of 45 years, Max Cleaves of Defiance, mother, Beverly Lime of Defiance, daughter, Christin Cleaves of Defiance,  brothers, Greg Lime, Richard Lime, Neil Lime, and John Lime.

She was preceded in death by father, Patrick Lime.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Ayersville United Methodist Church in Ayersville, Ohio, with Rev. Clarence Dinnen officiating.
