Juan B Palomin, 78, of Defiance, passed away on  Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Toledo Hospital, Toledo, OH.

He was born on March 28, 1936 to Jose and Margarita (Banda) Palomin in Texas.  On October 24, 1981 he married Rosa (Berlanga) Palomin and she passed away on March 27, 2009.

Juan was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and the K of C of Defiance.  He retired from the GM Foundry in 1995.

He is survived by his daug  hters, Julie (Juan) Delgado of Napoleon, Maria (Jorge) Mejia of Defiance, son, Tony (Melanie) Berlanga of Defiance, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brother, Joe Palomin of Artesia, NM, sisters, Dolores DeAnda of Seminal, TX, Minnie Briones of Haskel, TX, Linda Palomin of San Angelo, TX, Katie Delgado of San Angelo, TX, and Mary Torres of Sudan, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Rosa, son, Rick Palomin,brothers, Frank & Tony Palomin and Joe Herrera.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at St. John's Catholic Church with Father Todd Dominique officiating.  Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2014 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, OH with a Rosary service being held at 3:00 p.m.

The family suggest memorials be directed to the family or to a charity of the donor's choice.
