Joyce  M. Johnson, 82, of Defiance, passed away on  May 30, 2014 at the Laurels of Defiance .

She was born on February 16, 1932 in Bryan, OH, to Herbert & Mable (Stenger) Lewis. Joyce worked as sales clerk for Hill Department Store.

Joyce  is survived by her son, Troy (Tina) Johnson of Defiance, OH, daughter, Cindy (Todd) Smith of Defiance, OH, daughter, Jodi Johnson of Athens, OH, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, sister, Marylin Ruger of MI, sister, Beverly Vincent of Bryan, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Janet Slocum, special friend, Darrell March.

Joyce enjoyed boating and cooking.

Burial will be held at a later date.
