Jose E. Estrada Jose Efrain Estrada, 72, of Defiance, passed away Friday, May 19th, 2017 at St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. He was born in Zacapu, Michoacan, Mexico on April 26, 1945, he was the son of the late Juan Salvador and Maria Dolores (Lopez) Estrada. Jose was a man of faith who loved his family, music, cooking, fitness and above all else, God. He enjoyed billiards and watching NBA basketball games. He was a Metallurgist at G. M. Central Foundry for 35 years retiring in 1995. Survivors are Rosa Estrada, Veronica Estrada, Gabriel Estrada, Roxana Alvarado, Yessica (Rudy) Buentello, Diego (Jenny) Estrada and Omar Estrada. Three sisters: Betty Rice, Lola Torres, Vangie (Judd) Brawley Four brothers: Salvador Estrada, Mario (Mary) Estrada, Carlos (Raphaela) Estrada and Ricardo Estrada. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Jose was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Ramiro and Augustine Estrada and a sister who died in infancy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at St. John Catholic Church with Father Eric Mueller officiating. Visitation is Monday 2-8 p.m. at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home with a rosary service at 7:00 p.m. Monday. Visitation is also Tuesday 9-10 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church.
