Johnny Dale Scott, age 62, of Defiance, passed away on  December 14, 2022 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. He was born on May 19, 1960 to Albert and Grace (Hackney) Scott in Grundy, Virginia. Johnny worked in manufacturing for many years. He enjoyed music and playing guitar. Johnny loved hunting and fishing. He will be missed by many family members and friends. Johnny is survived by his sisters, Rita McCullough of Defiance, Regina (Ronald) Singer and brother, Steven (Helen) Scott both of Oakwood, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Carlotta Scott, Judy Schindler, Sandra Singer, and Betty Osborne. A Memorial Service will be held  at a later date. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
