Johnny H. Carroll, age 62 of Defiance, passed away on Monday evening, August 22, 2022 at his residence. He was born on May 21, 1960 to the late Lois and Mona (Hartford) Carroll in Grundy, Virginia. In 1989 he married Deborah Carroll, who preceded him in death in 2020. Johnny worked as an auto mechanic for several years. Johnny is survived by two daughters; Annette Hesselschwardt of Louisiana, and Alisa Carroll of Detroit, MI, his son, Johnny Carroll II, several grandchildren, and two sisters; Tammy (Jerry) Skiver and Diana (Paul) Owens, all of Defiance, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Deborah, two brothers and one sister. There will be no services at this time.
